The NMCADV has been working very hard to launch the Accessibility Project (formerly just the LEP project). We have added a new feature to our website that can be accessed through the Accessibility Project tab at the top of the page. You can now ask for pre-approval, request a reimbursement, and submit demographics information all online through our simple fill in forms.
The Accessibility Project gives domestic violence victims who are limited English proficiency speakers or are deaf or hard of hearing access to services that may not be readily available. We are able through a special grant to provide funding for these services to our member programs and many others throughout the state who work with individuals affected by domestic violence. More information about the project, services, resources to services, and how to access them are all available on the Accessibility Project webpage.
