Allstate Financial Empowerment Conference

Two of NMCADV’s Associate Trainers, Anna Blauw (The Healing House, Deming) and Perry Lawson (COPE, Alamogordo) along with the NMCADV Board President, Carol Horwitz (Santa Fe) recently attended a three day training on victim’s financial empowerment in Chicago. Expenses were paid by the Allstate Foundation. According to Carol Horwitz, “We are anxious to bring this information to others around the state.  When victims have financial independence, they have actual independence. It stands to make a real difference for a lot of people.”
