NMCADV Addresses Confidentiality Concerns

Confidentiality is arguably one of the most important but challenging aspects of domestic violence work. According to NMCADV Director, Pam Wiseman, “We want to clarify this issue for our programs, law enforcement, and others who deal with victims or perpetrators of violence.”

Domestic violence programs and stakeholders from around New Mexico will convene in Santa Fe in November as part of a task force devoted to understanding the law and its enactment form a variety of perspectives. The group will develop a document to serve as a guide in informing professionals around the state.

Those interested in being considered for the taskforce, should send an inquiry to David River, at david@NMCADV.org
