NMCADV Executive Director Appointed by the NM Supreme Court to the Children’s Court Improvement Commission (CCIC)

The Children’s Court Improvement Commission, an advisory board of the New Mexico Supreme Court, is devoted to improving judicial proceedings related to child abuse and neglect, and foster care and adoption.  From its beginnings in 1995 as the Court Improvement Project Task, the Commission has been comprised of numerous stake holders from many fields throughout New Mexico, and its work has been instrumental in improving the child welfare system.  The Commission is tasked with making recommendations to the New Mexico Supreme Court for the development of innovative approaches that advance court, agency, and stakeholder collaboration for improving the safety, permanency, and well being of children and families involved in the child welfare system.
