Excellent insight into dysfunctional communication and lateral violence

We all know workplace environments can be extremely stressful-especially in domestic violence service programs! This can often lead to dysfunctional communication, which can present itself as lateral violence. Lateral violence is violence, often in the form of bullying, that is used against ones peers or colleagues. This form of aggression is often seen in marginalized or minority groups with a history of oppression.  This excellently done video produced by BearPaw films gives an insightful example to lateral violence in the Native American community.
