Position: Family Advocacy Specialist

Solace Crisis Treatment Center is hiring an experienced full-time Family Advocacy Specialist to join its Family Advocacy Department. The position entails serving survivors of crimes by utilizing trauma informed strategies.

Duties and responsibilities of this 40-hour per week position entail providing crisis response, resourcing, and carrying a case load. This position also requires the individual to perform forensic interviews of child victims of sexual and physical abuse for which training will be immediately available. Bachelor’s Degree, at least three years of experience working with families in crisis and survivors of violent crimes. Ability to work at all times in a team-oriented environment with trauma and sexual violence survivors is a must. On call duties on weekends or after hours serving the agency’s 24 hour hotline service is required as needed.
