The Nest, a decade-old domestic violence shelter located in the southern range of the Rockies is looking for an Executive Director (ED) to lead it into the next decade. The shelter is well-funded and has been called a model shelter by government officials. The ED is the face of the shelter to the community and is primarily responsible for implementing the vision and mission set out by the board of directors. Among ED responsibilities are: community and public relations; financial oversight of programs; funds development and grant acquisition; staff training; marketing and media operations; and various outreach programs, including working with legislators.
