Position Location:

Albuquerque based. Regular travel to Santa Fe required. Some remote work allowable. Other travel as required for events (approximately 20-25%) and some overnights.


17.00 per hour with possibility for increases

Full Benefits:

Position Purpose

To ensure the smooth production of all NMCADV meetings, training and events

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities

Ensure the following:

  • Adequate, cost effective venues for all training, membership and Board meetings, task force and committee meetings, and all other events as appropriate.
  • Arrangement of cost-effective and appropriate lodging for speakers, staff and training/event attendees where necessary.
  • All materials for events are accurate and available as requested including printed materials, office supplies, food/refreshments, etc.
  • A/V technology and set up for all events is adequate and effective.
  • Assist staff in preparation of PowerPoint or similar presentations as requested.
  • Delivery of all online training is effectively managed and user friendly.
  • Live webinars and other online events are effectively managed and user friendly.
  • Effective management of registration and payments for all training and events.
  • Training records including sign-in sheets, tests/evaluations, completion certificates and all other documents related to training and events are accurate, timely, and available as needed.
  • Posting and promotion of all events, online and in other ways as appropriate.
  • Contracting all speakers/presenters for all events as necessary. To include: development of contracts that are in line with federal rates or as negotiated with prior approval from supervisor, ensuring all travel and other logistical arrangements necessary for speakers, ensuring speakers receive all necessary and pertinent information to complete their contracts.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

High-level technology proficiency in:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Social media including Facebook, Twitter and Linked In
  • Video site management preferred, including YouTube and Vimeo
  • Basic website management/administration preferred, especially WordPress
  • Event management software administration preferred, especially Eventbrite
  • Course Management System or learning software experience preferred, especially Moodle
  • Online conference management software experience preferred, especially Go to Meeting
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) skills highly desirable

General Skills and Organizational Capacities:

  • Passion for excellent customer service and personable demeanor

Other Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Individual will be subject to criminal background check.
  • Employee must comply with all operational policies, especially those involving the safety of fellow workers, volunteers, and clients/customers.
  • Employee must maintain a current and valid driver’s license to perform work duties, as position consists of activities that require travel by motor vehicle, whether personal or a company car.
  • Position requires applicant be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

The New Mexico Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NMCADV) works to achieve a coordinated local, regional, and statewide response to domestic violence through a collaborative network of member programs that consist of domestic violence service providers and other allied organizations and individuals. The NMCADV serves as a clearinghouse for information and referrals on all domestic violence related issues and services. The coalition collaborates with agencies and advocates in the areas of program development, public policy, education and funding proposals.
