This webinar will discuss the effects of domestic violence on the relationship between a parent and a child. It will focus on the outcomes of children exposed to violence, explore how violence affects both the survivor and the perpetrator’s abilities to parent and discuss how a trauma-informed care framework and relevant resources can benefit parents and children.

By the end of this webinar, participants will understand:

  • How children may be affected by violence in the home
  • How violence affects parenting
  • Different applications of trauma-informed care
  • Strategies to strengthen the parent-child relationship
