Transforming Trauma - Phase I Training

Whether you are a counselor, nurse, teacher, advocate, first responder, community organizer, or caring for a loved one in need, this PHASE I training is for you. (If you have previously attended a workshop with Laura and are looking for the Advanced Training, click HERE). Laura van Dernoot Lipsky has worked with trauma survivors for 25 years and offers a compelling mix of personal insight and stories, cutting edge research, and New Yorker cartoons to help us understand the cumulative toll of being exposed to suffering over time and gain concrete skills to reconcile it.

TraumaStewardship-smPhase I Training is open to all interested persons, and will be held on Tuesday, April 30th at the Santa Fe Convention Center from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Parking at the Convention Center is accessible from S. Federal Place (opposite the Post Office) and is $10.00 for the day (cash or checks only).  Lunch will be on your own.

The cost for the event is $30. Reduced or no fees for employees of one of our project partners (see drop down list) and is payable by credit card (through PayPal) or check.  CEUs are be available for counselors, therapists and social workers.  Scholarships are available.  Interpretive services for deaf or hard of hearing will be available (please indicate this need during the registration process). [March 6 update: CHRISTUS employees can register at no direct cost to them - the fee will be paid by the hospital separately]
