| The New Mexico Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NMCADV) announces a 2-day training with national experts David Garvin and Jeffrie Cape for new and experienced BIP facilitators to develop and hone their skills.Direct training will be 16 hours over 2 days. A 4-hour follow-up session with Pamela Wiseman (BIP expert and Executive Director of NMCADV) will complete the 20 hour BIP training requirement for CYFD contractors and approved programs. This session will take place at our Albuquerque office, 201 Coal Ave. SW, on Monday, May 21 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., and will be recorded for those not able to attend in person.This training is subsidized in large part by a grant from the Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD); therefore, CYFD contractors will pay a discounted registration fee of $85. All other participants will pay the full $160 fee. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks for each day of the training are included at no additional charge. You can pay by credit card or check (checks must be received by April 26th). Registration form is at the bottom of this page.A special room rate of $72 per night for participants is available at the Nativo Lodge, using registration code "BIP".
